My dear friend,
According to u , place Like "Bangalore" is "Unclean",
I of course agree to it , its due to a corrupt systems prevailing in Bangalore. U cannot solely blame the city nor the every indian for it.
Even am staying abroad, i know the standards here, & i know the "SHOW CASE " westreners potray. Wearing a "French Perfume" doesnt mean one is clean & i've seen rubbish & uncleanliness even here,
The strongest point of India is our culture that makes to go hand in hand with every one Not like the westerners who recieve "culture shock" .
Even i feel Petty on these westren people tryimg to show off their mind which they dont "HAVE". & by the way when u dont like Bangalore So what r u waiting for ... u can get rid of it rt ??
When it comes to hard work & low cost Human Power , Westerner come down to "Bangalore", Why cant htey find such hardworking pple here ???
SO ...Ur Dirty comments on the city or Country doesn't effect the ethnicity & "Glory of INDIA" , All u have seen is "rubbish" & beauty lies in the heart & souls..
Bye
ME A PROUD INDIAN
Dear Mr. Anonymous,
this blog is personal and my own subjective opinion. It is mainly thought
to give my friends who have not been to India an impression on what India
is like. It is not supposed to be a glorifying ode on India. If you want
to citicize my view than do this in a constructive way. I even ask for it.
But your comment is counterproductive and only confirms my impression that
the 'avarage' Indian always expects you to say what he wants to hear, e.g.
'I love India'. This attitude doesn't make foreigners love India (apart from
the travellers who love adventurous travelling and the hippies who smoke
their heads off with weed in Goa and all the other 'hip' hippie-places) nor
does it improve the local poor circumstances I mentioned.
Sincerly.
Michael Valenta
Dear Micheal,
Every Person "He/she" do like their country, no matter how "Odd" it is..
Comments which i gave earlier are just Common feeling which every native has...no matter it is Indian or any Asian or Any one..
Cultural Gaps do exists, "CLEAN"
in ur context is different than what an Indian Feels about it. So
i accept ur words .. as u descrided the instances in B'lore,
& Personaly i dont want any one to say that "i love India", ..
its all ur Opinion about the Local People ..& ur experiances..
Anyways...gud Luk for ur furure..
May U get a "Better Place"
"GOD BLESS ALL"
Cheers
Hey Michael
I am an Indian... and read what u've said...
And i wouldn't say that i do not agree with it...
The comments made by the other Indian guy above is something as expected from any other so called proud Indian...
U know u've made a nice observation Michael...
But the most important thing you've said which i think is "...nor have they any sense for social responsibility"
I think Indians are very mean towards each other when it comes to societal matters...
all sorts of discrimination exists...
"the average Indian simply doesn't care; it is the way it is"
Which also bothers me , as an Indian...
Anyways... enjoy your stay...
